I work everyday just like many of you. The daily grind is both exhilirating and annoying. Exhilirating because I enjoy what I do and love my boss. At the same time a little annoying because I have to go in instead of being able to work from home. Also annoying because I'm so not into fast food and prefer something from home. Usually it's leftovers, but this morning it was a toasted almond butter and honey sandwich on 7-grain bread, a red delicious apple and some craisins and apricots. I was able to pack my lunch while making my morning chai.
What's in your lunch bag?

wow,..everythin looks yum,..toasted almond butter sounds yum,..
Hi Alpa!!! Your sandwich sounds so good to go with a tall glass of ice cold milk!! I usually bike home for lunch and just eat whatever. Leftovers, cottage cheese with veggies, pb&j or grilled cheese just to name a few!
Srivalli - I can't compare to the astonishing lunches you prepare everyday for yourself and family!
Notyet100 - It really is so good, it tastes so much better than peanut butter and now with all these peanut allergies, it's a very close substitute.
Penny - I'm so jealous you can bike home for lunch! I would be so tempted to lay on the couch for a bit. (and probably dread going back to work, lol!)
Hey Alpa, Almond toast looking yummy along with raisins...first time here and I must have you have very nice blog..love the pictures.
Priti - Thank you for dropping by! Please come again :)
Hi alpa, A whole wheat sandwich. I got store bought hummus and guacamole, and spread them on one slice. Added pre-washed baby spinach leaves, sliced tomatoes, cucumber, jalapeno, salt and pepper. I could eat this every single day. Sometimes I have bottled grilled red bell pepper that's marinated in olive oil, and I add that too - atleast it's olive oil (not unhealthy, although I don't need as much as comes in the amounts I use!!). --Deepa (Austin, TX)
